Stanford Researchers Found the Muscle Metric That Predicts Longevity

Why muscle, not weight, is the metric that matters

Is a DEXA scan worth it?

This is the question we hear most, and it's a fair one. A DEXA scan costs more than stepping on a scale and less than most people assume, and unlike almost every other body composition tool available to consumers, it gives you clinical-grade data instead of an estimate. Whether it's "worth it" depends on what you're trying to answer. None of these can calculate ALMI. None of them can tell you whether the number on the scale dropping is actually good news.
