Most DEXA providers rely on scan technicians whose job ends when the machine beeps. At Kalos, your scan is performed and interpreted by a Kalos data scientist trained in exercise science and physiology. You’ll learn what your numbers actually mean — where your muscle asymmetries come from, how your fat distribution affects your health and what to do about it next.
"This was honestly an amazing experience to be able to see all my gains analyzed numerically. Also, Sean made the experience way better with his attention to detail, analytical nature, and highly intelligent when it came to breaking down all the numbers and providing details to my overall body composition."
At other DEXA scan providers, you get a PDF. At Kalos, you get complete clarity. Your data analyst will sit down with you to break down every metric in your DEXA report and provide you with specific training & nutritional guidance to help you smash your goals. You’ll leave knowing exactly what to do, why it matters, and how to measure success.
"Had my scan today and was sooo impressed with the knowledge this team has!! They walked me through the scan results and gave me immediate things to do to start improving my health based on my results."
Most DEXA providers prioritize volume — the faster they scan, the better. Kalos is different. Your 30-minute appointment includes plenty of time to ask questions, review your history, and discuss your goals. Because meaningful health data can’t be understood in six minutes.
"Harsh is able to give such targeted and useful feedback on my body and needs through this innovative program that combines a data-driven approach with personalized fitness goals. The DEXA scan was super cool! I've never had something like that done before."
My wife and I met with Lexy for our initial visit. The Dexa was quick (6 minutes each) and stress free. Lexy gave us an excellent, detailed overview of the results including specific things to work on. We’re considering the coaching package and see how it fits into our time and overall training. Definitely would recommend Kalos and Lexy for anyone interested in long term health!
This is what I’ve been looking for. I finally got tired of all the apps that make promises they can’t keep. This not only reveals your body composition but they have experts to help you with workouts and nutrition as well. Looking forward to starting this new journey with them.
Highly recommended! Ben provided great insight into my current body composition and how to improve key metrics for body percentage fat, visceral fat, lean muscle, etc. I was surprised to see a difference in muscle mass in my left versus right side arms/legs and looking forward to seeing how these numbers change when I return next time
Quick and easy process. Staff was incredibly friendly and helpful to quickly set you up and support you understanding and preparing the results! Also, very clean and comfortable environment.
I just completed my first DEXA Scan at Kalos, and the entire process was pleasant and seamless.Joshua was exceptional: highly professional, knowledgeable, and kind. He took the time to explain everything clearly and made the experience very comfortable.
Boy did we enjoy our experience at Kalos Palo Alto! And the information we received was eye-opening and valuable. My wife and I both had their DEXA scan, and then Sophie went over the data in detail and explained our findings. We both have work to do on our fat/muscle balance, and that’s exactly what we needed to know. We now have the information - and baseline scan data - to plan our exercise program over the coming weeks and months.
Kalos is a fantastic place to try if you’re serious about making changes to improve your lifestyle and overall health. They provide an all-inclusive program with both nutrition and personal training.
Josh was absolutely amazing! He was extremely knowledgeable and incredibly detailed throughout the DEXA scan process, taking the time to explain everything clearly and thoroughly. You can truly tell he genuinely cares about people’s health and helping you reach your goals. His professionalism and passion for what he does made the entire experience comfortable and empowering.
Harsh is able to give such targeted and useful feedback on my body and needs through this innovative program that combines a data-driven approach with personalized fitness goals. The DEXA scan was super cool! I've never had something like that done before.
Incredibly professional & knowledgeable team here led by Harsh. First time getting a DEXA scan and I’m excited about a science-backed way to improve my health
I’ve been getting DEXA scans for a while, and this experience was exactly what I’ve been missing: spot-on coaching to help me understand my scan results and create a plan for building muscle. I met the CEO, and he personally crafted me an exercise plan that I will try for the next month then come back. Love it!
Got my Dexa scan and learned so much about my body and how I can improve my health moving forward! Harsh was super kind and thorough when explaining what each number meant. Would definitely come back to keep tabs on the progression of my health!
I’ve been working out for 20+ years (and some of that time with a trainer). Using the data and insights from KALOS I’m learning so much more about my body / health than I have this entire time. Scheduling has been easy, location is great, and Harsh has been very knowledgeable. Great experience so far!
